Privacy Notice
How website consultation information is handled.
Effective August 9, 2026. This notice applies to information submitted through UCMJ.Law, the website of Kamoroff Law, LLC, and does not replace the terms of a signed representation agreement.
Information the website collects
The consultation form asks for contact information, branch and rank details, duty station, the type of matter, deadlines, whether interviews or statements are pending, whether documents are available, and a brief description. The web host may also create ordinary security and access logs, such as an IP address, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps.
Why the information is used
Information submitted through the form is used to check potential conflicts, evaluate urgency and whether the matter may fit the practice, respond to the request, protect the website from abuse, and meet legal or professional obligations. It is not sold.
Who may receive it
Information may be handled by Kamoroff Law, LLC, Mr. Kamoroff, and people or service providers who support the law practice, website hosting, email delivery, security, or professional compliance. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, necessary to protect rights or safety, or authorized by the person who submitted it.
Minimize sensitive information
Do not send classified information, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, medical records, or full case files through the website form. Use the form only for the information needed to identify the matter, check conflicts, understand the deadline, and arrange direct follow-up.
Security and retention
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards should be used for information the practice keeps, but no website or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Information should be retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here and applicable legal, ethical, security, or recordkeeping obligations.
No attorney-client relationship from submission alone
Submitting information does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship or require the office to accept a matter. Representation begins only through a written agreement signed by the attorney and client. Do not assume the office will take action on a deadline until that has been confirmed directly.
